Lipid management is a major part of our role in primary care, having a significant impact on the long term cardiometabolic health of our patients. NICE guidance has recently changed and we have been provided with a number of new medication options to help achieve optimal lipid profiles. This webinar aims to outline the importance of lipid management, summarise current NICE guidelines and discuss some of the novel therapeutic options available to GP's.

This covers atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) and the secondary prevention lipid management pathway which will help practices to proactively identify patients who may benefit from treatment intervention or review. To support this new search tool, we have created a suite of searches that are available in Population Reporting > EMIS Library > EMIS Clinical Utilities > NHS Lipid Management.

2) CVD Central project – A South East CVD Case Study at Scale
